SEO for flash site

    I want to make site using flash. I have read somewhere that it affects seo. Is SEO for flash site is difficult? How can I do that?

    Search engines cant see flash, they can only see text.
    best thing would be to make an html version of the site.

    My guess your best bet would be the following to build your seo:

    Incoming links
    Meta tags
    Content on the page under all the flash(Something explaining what the page is about. If it's a sales page for computers you could put "We offer computers from HP, Dell, Gateway and many other companys. Our computers are top of the line... blah blah blah)
    Title tags
    Domain name keywords(it looks like spam, example : cheap-and-fast-computers-that-are-top-of-the-line-at-cheap-prices. It will get SE love, but no one will remember it.)

    Good luck.

    Best option is to go with HTML.

    you still can have a site that looks great and still contains html....for SEO I don't recommened that you go witha flash site.

    depend on what type of site you are building. is it going to be a content site or just a company website? If it is a company website, simply optimize the title page,description meta tag and keyword meta tag.

    by the way, i have seen that google now can read Flash files. (that's have been confirmed)
