SEO for Flash Animations

    Hi all,

I'd like to know if anyone has any experience packing hidden keywords into Flash animations. If I'm not mistaken, MC and Gogle have intimated that they are getting good at indexing the text in Flash and Javascript.

Spamming? You might call it that.

But I've got a site that is 90% animations with only the name of the website in the animation. I don't want to write a descriptive article about each animation and put it below on the page, because that would seem silly, and clearly just for SEO (and it would mess up my page design). I want people to go there to see the funny animations, not to read some boring optimized summary. Why include text at all?
So, for SEO purposes, I'm thinking of writing such "optimized" text, and placing it in the animations with an opaque white box over it in Flash. (or just coloring the text white, like the background). This would be the equivalent of putting black text on a black background in HTML, which is clearly outside of the Google guidelines.
What do you think? Too risky? Waste of time?

    Thanks for your replies.

If you provide an alternate to the content of the flash file, i don't think it's spamming. Matt Cutts himself has said that making text invisible if an image with the same text in it is on the same spot as that text, isn't bad, so why would it be bad for Flash animations?
