SEO for Favicon

    Hi All

    I have recently uploaded a favicon in my blog & website

    When i check my websites & blogs in Mozilla the favicon is visible in task bar

    But the icons are not visible in the in Internet Explorer

    Does this make any effect in the SEO Process

    What should i do to appear in IE Task Bar also

    I want the Icons in my Task Bar if the customer forgets the URL he can identify by icon which he had visited for

    Kindly Advice

    No affect at all, you should use FF for appearing favicon.

    A favicon makes your site standout from the others since many still do not have favicons.
    It helps identify which tab has which site in it in the browser.

    It will not have any effect on SEO.
