    start installing different plug ins in your blog, and do the on page optimization which is all the modifications that you do in your website, and tthe ofpage is the modifications that you do outside your website, i think there is many tutorials here in the forum just try to apply them

    How to get traffic quickly? Grab some trending stuff and write a hell of an article for it, then u can also use social networks, digg, reddit, if your content is really good it can go viral easily, and this will be a lot of help for your site.

    There's loads of great free plug-ins that you can add. Or you can do manual on page SEO using wordpress editors. Also, you can SEO your site in your blog posts.

    If you are going to do it by yourself then you should make sure you read EVERYTHING to make sure you do not penalize your site. If you do one wrong thing it could drop you from the serps.
