SEO for Affiliate Site

I am planning to start a new site for selling certain products/services/ebooks of Clickbanks. I know that search engines hate Affiliates links. Since my business model is based on affiliate marketing, I can’t avoid these links.

What is the solution? Should I add No Follow TAG before the affiliate links or do I need to do modification like bizrate.com ?

Just go ahead with the affiliate links. There are tons of these links up there.. The main focus should be your content, it should be valuable to the readers.

you can ad the nofollow tags to your links...I don't think it makes that big of difference. I think by now the Search Engines know how to detect affiliate links

Google doesn't like affiliate links because 99.9% of spam websites have affiliate links on their page. What you want to avoid is a high concentration of these links. But, seeing how this is your key method to earning revenue, a simple php redirect method will avoid you any negative SEO results.

It's not like having your affiliate links will drop you out of the search engines, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't "worry about it". It's a small factor, but small factors can make all the difference.

Anyways, use something like this to avoid any penalties.
