SEO for a multi-domain site

I have one site with multiple domains. Each listing as a an independant site on Google.
3 are variations on my company name. 1 is my primary target keyword-phrase, and the other 2 are longer-tail versions of that keyword phrase.
So 6 domain names = 6 Google listings.
Thre is only 1 phone number on all them, so it doesn't take much to figure out they are all for the same company.

First of all, is this considered Spamming in some manner, and hence hindering rather than helping me? Get me blacklisted maybe?
Should they instead all do some sort of redirection to just one domain name?

Secondly, given 'internal' links are the easiest to obtain, should I have one page that in some manner lists links to all my domains. Effectively giving me more links?

Thirdly, am I splitting my 'link juice' by having multiple domains, and hence making it harder to earn higher rankings. I am a small sole-trader business, without tons of time to put in to web-marketing. Should I try and get links to all the domains. 1 domain. 2 Domains?

    Thanks

    Hi Neil,

Firstly when Google does notice that you have so many domains with the same content it could ban you. I would use the strongest domain and get all the other to iones to 301 reditrect.

I would then looking at doing some on site optimisation and maybe look at a link building stratergy from other local businesses.

    Hope this helps, good luck

    Ok, now I'm scared.

Thank you, sounds like good advice.
Following from that, I have 2 questions:

    1. Branding vs target keyword phrase: One strong domain is a variation on my company name, the other strongest domain is my primary target keyword phrase. How do I choose which one to be the 'main domain'? If I promote my company name, then I lose out on the target keyword phrase, and if promote the target keyword phrase domain, then it looks out of place on stationary, next to the comapany name.

    2. I manage online links to my domains meticuously. Should I have links to all my domains - a spread -, or get them all to link to my 'main domain' - in which case, should I ditch the other domains?

    Thanks again
