I was just wondering if anyone knows what the industry standard rates would be for the major SEO services in Australia?

dont forget just because your company and you maybe based in Australia your SEO company does not have to be. You may be able to get better results and better pricves by looking outside your jurisdiction
You can get better rates if you look outside Australia. Since it is all online, you do not need to work together with someone in the region. Just make sure you get some sample work or order just a small package/service first to check out the quality. There are some really good SEO companies out there, but also some really lousy ones. I'd better not mention either of them..
I was actually wondering because I'm thinking about setting up my own and I was wondering what the average company charges, and the payment schemes they offer. Like do most charge on results? per hour? for work done? etc and how much do they charge?
Hi Burta, No company will give you their rates in Australia for SEO. I think you need to have bit research in local market rather than asking this in to community. As what i know about australian market, companies and it;s clients are having strong NDA. So one can not give you the exact answer as per the services they offer from bronze to diamond.
I would do a search and look for similar types of services and see what they are charging. That may give you some idea.
I think you should probably Google it and look at other companies and mail them to know about there pricing for each of the services. Its all dependent on the pricing you want to keep as per the brandability and your targeting clients.
I would definately advise against going for the cheapest possible.. its probably cheap for a reason. Do your research, compare some companies and go with the one you feel is best!
