I just found this article about an SEO firm which was busted and directed to pay penalty for giving false promises about placing top in SERP pages. Most of you might have read this article as it is a very old article yet I just thought it was funny and so posted it. The SEO firm was ordered to pay around $50000 ..LOL.

Just check this for the whole news.

Its good to hear that fake SEO companies who guarantee any top SERP ranking for almost every keyword faces such penalties.. this would prevent fake SEO companies from fooling webmasters with all kinds of false promies.

I also found that there are 69400 results for PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICSILICOVOLCANOKONIOSIS.. swear I never heard this word previously

I am not pointing fingers on them but what is the guarantee that they would return the money later on if they do not cope up to expecations.. secondly even if they rank high for the keyword with a lot of quck backlinks what guarantee is there that the backlinks are permenant backlinks... maybe after you rank high once with that keyword and pay the fees they would stop those temporary backlinks and your site would again lose its SERP... I am not pointing fingers at professional SEOs but if you think properly what is the benefit of this guarantee too
