hello friends, i have some interesting thing to share with you all. few days back i met a person who is a SEO professional. we were having discussions regarding various thing related to SEO. i told him that i often use rel="nofollow" on my sites so that the link juice do not pass to less important pages and i was amazed know his view. he told me if you want to do SEO for any site then make sure that you do less on-page SEO and totally avoid rel="nofollow" or similar tags as you are directly telling Google that you are doing SEO and then Google will not attach much importance to your site. i was taken aback by his answer. he has 5 yrs of exp in SEO and he is a member at SEOMOZ. do you think he is correct? I don't think he is right... but google changes algorithms regularly according to that we should optimize the web pages.
Google never said Optimize your site for SE's only and they never said to do the continuous SEO. Our site is only for Online users not for others (SE) so when you are doing site optimization our first concern in User. We should focus our view on online user only. EOD everybody wants to earn money so you need more traffic to your site. If you want more traffic, lets focus on Good content and Good back link.
google does not like seo thats is true.. rest is all false.. google like pages are well written with proper on page optimized... Why? that helps them to index them better and provide relative information to user because that is all that google does. so , on page optimization is for adding proper keywords at proper places.. it is like you are in airport and if you want to find some one what will you do? you will stand at the door of the airport with big poster of that person's name...so.. that is all google want for us when it lands to your airport... these posters are meta and anchor tags... and person's name is keyword .. so.. i dont think there is not problem of on page optimization untill you are putting lots of posters with out requirement
