Hi guys, I'm new here and have been looking around over the last couple of days and seems like people are willing to help. I have a website that has been around for about a year and a half and I would like to get it noticed more, especially for the keyword phrase "chocolate wedding favors". Does anybody have any suggestions on what I should do to get my site positioned better or SEO suggestions in general? My site is www.chocolatedreamsandwishes.com I have recently got some articles written and submissions are on their way to get some backlinks, but that's about all. Thanks in advance for you help.
Hi there well the phrase "chocolate wedding favors" has only 457,000 results with out the use of "" with the use of "chocolate wedding favors" it has 60,800. I am assuming you do not know what "" are or what they do basically by adding "" in to your search one at the start one at the end of your search term it targets specifically websites which are targeting that keyword. Therefore we can see only 60,800 websites or competitors are targeting that keyword, which in SEO terms is not very much at all. The best things you can do to target this keyword and become highly ranked is on page SEO and link building with chocolate wedding favors in your anchor text (anchor text being the text on the hyperlink) for example Keyword research articles the anchor text there is keyword research artices which sends you to a page of my own. Work on backward links with good keyword anchor text to start, also get on relevent blogs, forums etc and post with signature links to your site. I have found this helps alot not just with backward links but also with some traffic, little by little you will get there, just stick at it.
If you really want to enhance your traffic then go read blog related to SEO by different SEO experts such as Matt cutt blog, googlegenie blog. You can enhance your traffic within few months.
