I have ran across this site called source-wave.com and I have been looking at some of his bizarre videos... I ran across one video where he offers this free wp plugin that will do some magic, create 100's or 1000's of pages tagged with your "keyword" and you will rank.... bizarre right.... http://source-wave.com/video/50-niches-monetization/ http://source-wave.com/dynasty/plugin-delivery/ He even says his content is not unique... What do you guys make of this? This guy is showing you things that I think google is telling you not to do, according to Allen, its ok....
That is for local seo I haven't tried that plugin. Alex Becker and Source Wave really know their stuff, that team hasn't built an empire by accident. Keep watching their videos they are very informative.
I understand that is local... however, it is still duplicate content... then it becomes low quality when visitors click on another article, and sees that it is exactly the same with the exception of keyword changes....
Google discourages doorway pages or pages stuffed with keywords or duplicate content. Google is now very strict regarding this and they have powerful tools to check the same. they are improvising those tools to and If you are penalised, it will be hard for you to get back to top ranking in google. Avoid artificial methods (link exchange etc) to rank top on search engine. instead work on blogging and conversions.
sound 100% just like blackhat SEO to me. Beware of the RankBrian that uses AI to rank your website, and they can quickly find those doorway sites and slammed you with "pure spam" penalty. I have a few review sites and inside with pages that provide more specific niche feature and sub-products review, and it get penalized for doing so. There is google bot at work, and what they see is "keyword + pages = spam"
some time it's work, but you should need to put original content related to website. and current SEO trends, you should need to make some keywords based pages.
I just cant believe a company or person like source-wave.com would promote such trash, so I assume he is targetting newcomers that absolutely know zero about SEO, however, when their sites crash, they will look back and realize Allen showed them "how-to" get no-where.
Similar to doorway pages. They are not hidden pages redirecting to a main page. The strategy is to put together a page and mass produce it for similar content targeting same or similar keywords in local surrounding areas changing the city term. There have been at least a couple of fairly well known marketers doing this for years. Google Pigeon isn't the same as Penguin or Panda the loophole with Pigeon was around for years if it isn't now. I am not sure if it works now. I saw examples of it even a year or so ago in a case study and some were up for a long time, years. The idea isn't to rank your business with that strategy. It is to create lead pulling websites then monetize it usually by selling a local business either a monthly fee or rent by lead. It's a churn and burn method more or less although it has had or is having a very long run. If or when the website get's deindexed it gets dissolved and the leads stop. You are not giving a dofollow backlink to the people your advertising so there is no penalty to them. I find it interesting but a better strategy is to forget the plugin and build it manually. My business isn't the scale of some of the people who use strategies like this and are always finding ways to rank fast and easy if even for a short term. At the end of the day it's about the ROI.
