    Presently the page is lurking between page 3 and 4.

    While it will often work well hiring people and paying them when the job is done, professionals who can get you the results that you are looking for, will not work on that basis when it comes to SEM and getting your site onto page 1. There are too many variables, and too many costs. If you are going to get to the first page you usually have to spend money, and I don't mean hiring an SEO expert, I mean even I would have to spend money. I've been practicing and learning SEO for about 15 years and I know many IM gurus, they will all tell you the same thing. I can get the job done for you if you are willing to pay at least a deposit, and remainder when you see your site on the first page. Please let me know the site and keywords you're trying to rank for if you would like to figure something out.

    Yes, escrow is a great solution to the pay upon results dilemma regarding trust... however theres still the issue of out of pocket expenses. I'd like to find a professional SEM'er who doesn't have out of pocket expenses for getting clients' sites on the top in Google SERPS...

    Totally agree. Show me someone who cliams to be offering a great seo service and will work to get payed after work is done and ill show you a lier :)

    I agree, if you are really serious about getting your site to page 1 of Google you have to spend, because the SEO company will have to spend, everyone will have to spend to get to page 1. It's not cheap nor free. If someone will claim they can do it without some sort of upfront payment, you should really be concern, especially if its SEO/SEM related, because thats just not going to work. Good luck anyway
