SEO analyst is nothing but its just used for guys who are ready to become SEO Experts. SEO Analyst is not an existing word in world of SEO, but few guys who claim themselves as SEO experts though then know only 10% of SEO basics will place SEO Analyst after their name. So never believe in SEO Analyst or SEO expert unless they have some proof like their portfolio etc things. People made this term a funny one!

Hi there is little bit difference SEO Expert and SEO Analyst. SEO Expert fully concentrates on doing seo activities while SEO Analyst does SEO Activities but also Monitoring which activity is more beneficial and how we can improve.
In my opinion there is nothing like SEO Expert... I say this because no body can guarantee anything. I can say that I am a networking expert if I have a CCIE certificate because I can implement a computer network and predict how it will exactly work. However in the SEO industry not even Matt cutts can guarantee anything. So my best bet is that you should see everyone from the SEO industry as analysts. They analyze data sets and come up with educated guesses.
