Not “isnare.comâ€, I will not post the DP user that did the submissions, because I can not recommended it.
great job !ask!. Anchor text has always ruled the net when it comes to rankings. As long as you have the right one and enough of them you will out do most of your competitors
found a link to an old thread where about good article sites that allow contextual links. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=147817
http://www.ezinearticles.com & http://www.goarticles.com is really good sites. This sites are helps a lot.
I'm also running an experiment with article submissions and I'm ranking well for certain cellphone reviews. So far these keywords are also at the top of the list for my search query report. If anyone is interested, I can provide article writing and submission service. $10 for 1 article 20 submits.
Sorry, article submission did not get you to #1: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=243081
opps wrong link... someone pointed out this post as to why article submissions work. They only reason this worked is because this search term has no competition. Just having that keyword in the title of the page can take you to one. I jumped to #1 in 3 days for that just to prove this wrong... I have NO backlinks. If anything it proves article submission hurts. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=243081
Nice, also the links you get on the 1 week are very good because normally on the homepage of sites, then as time goes by and your links get buried inside the site will probably lose power.
Well shouldn't any backlink be good? Why should it mater if you drop off the home page, its still a backlink. My point is if anything it is hurting you since you have backlinks with the keywords and I don't.
Not all links are equal as you drift from collision pages of the links normally the homepage, the power gets lower. Regarding the point of you being 1º Google normally rotates the first places, let’s see if you stay there.. I think having some articles links on your link profile is always good, If nothing more it diversifies your profile..
I'm am sure that the sitewide links in your site helped alot in getting you #1 I would not go as far to say that this proves that article submissions hurt, but you do have a point that the keyword is not that competive. Either way it is a job well done by both of you. Why not try it with a more competive keyword and then see what happens?
You're right... The site wide links are now gone, I did that to index the page. I guess we will wait to see what happens. It still has no backlinks. Completive keywords I'm always working on but its not a contest, I'm simply against article submission as a type of promotion.
Can't do that many submissions but I am more motivated to submit after this thread. I just started using an automatic article submitter availabel for free or almost for free from this forum. I seems to at least speed up the process significantly even though it's not automatic.
I have to disagree... I think article submission hurts and doesn't help. SE are much smarter these days. Now the thread where I argued this point in now number #1... Only because it has more content since that keyword was mentioned a lot in that thread. I knew this would happen but again it proves my point.
Today i did the search and looks like Ask is again the first one. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=extensive+categorization+&btnG=Search
What is this software called? The one that submits to 450 article directories? Ive got a few articles, just not sure where to submit them. Is there a service where someone can do the article submission for you?
