I submitted an article to 450 article directories with the anchor "extensive categorization" this are the only links that use “categorization†on my link profile and the only links for the page. After 1 week I rank on the middle of 2º page for “categorization†and number 1º for “extensive categorization†at google
Why do you add º after the page your ranking on? I'm not sure exactly how significant the test is since this keyword isn't particularly competitive. It does prove that article site links aren't regarded merely as spam I guess.
I'm sure its the same article, however that many links may keep the ranking especially for a keyword phrase like this which is not competitive.
I didnt' check competitiveness, but I suspect that no one cares to rank for such a term. If you couldnt rank before the articles, it will be a little stronger. But watch 30 and 60 days out...much of your improvement will disappear. Submit unique articles to 450 directories and you'll be much much happier
Submit original articles to 450 directories is crazy , what I could do is select the 10 or 20 best and submit 1 original article to each
I tend to do this but only submitting to 3 websites. Each allow anchor text within the actual article too which I think gives it an added benefit.
Heh. True. I never tried that myself. Not sure I could write 450 articles on many topics, especially any of the topics that would garner me traffic. Maybe 10 or so. But 450? That'd be a fun experiment though! I didn't even know there were 450 directories with pr and traffic that were google indexed. Figure most got duped out by now. Same here. 3 or 4 at the most. I've settled on the ones that drive me traffic, though. That is a huge factor for my continued posting.
Just looked for the links, and can't find them, sorry. My bookmarks were deleted a while back, and my outlook inbox was trashed also.. Very annoying
www.searchwarp.com - great for traffic www.buzzle.com - you have to apply to be an editor though, not everyone is accepted www.goarticles.com I'd have to look up the other one. It's bookmarked at work, I'm at home and I don't remember these sorts of things
Used a service that probably used automated software. Better just submit manually to the 10 or 20 top ones. Thanks, rep added when you can please post the remaining.
was it isnare? I tried that once...most the posted articles never linked back to me, and many of the directories kept emailing me (hey your article is posted...everyday they'd send it, how irritating) till i put them on spam filters
