Just because others have gotten away with it doesn't mean that you will. As someone else mentioned, using a Trademark in a domain is a violation and big companies have started to act on it... eBay is notorious for sending out C&D's and there are companies which have been set up purely for the purpose of seeking out trademark violations and chasing them on behalf of the big companies. When people talk about using keyword match domains they don't mean it with the intention of using a trademark, they mean it with the intention of going after big traffic in Google after carrying out research for top performing niche keywords. For example you could have gone for 'fridge-freezer.xyz' with fridge freezer being the target keyword. Or 'black-fridge-freezer.xyz'... the list is endless and doesn't infringe any trademarks. Everyone else has covered the optimization tips so I won't add anything on that.
