Hi all, I am trying SEO for the very first time. So I wanted your inputs and suggestions. Basically many seo's suggests keyword should be there on domain as well. So I have chosen a domain i.e samsungfridge. As of now its in google's 5th page keyword is "samsung fridge" By using wordpress I have created this static page and I also have "All in one seo plugin active" and only one dofollow link from DP I want your suggestions! Thanks in advance..
that's a good plugin to use for seo, I would just be a concern .. you might get a c&d when u get too popular other than that, the site looks good
Thanks for sharing your thought, I don't think I will get c&d here,, Bcoz there are many top sites doing well in first page with no issues (apple product related). Do you have any tips to make it to first page??
hi, very good dear. you must do off-page like article submission, bookmarking, theme related good links, directory submission, comments posting and more.
@ pk.mushi Thank you very much, I always wanted to try some experiment like this. If possible I will put more useful content and reviews on this site and start building links now.
Find a relevant blog to aggregate content. Using a plugin you can easily automatically generate content. Careful of where you get the content, and be aware of republishing rights offered by the author.
No problem One big tip is obviously make sure there are no spelling mistakes lol Your on page SEO is extremely good. Keywords are all spot on and density is spot on. I would personally start adding some more sub pages with content. The empty Categories and No categories doesnt look that great when you visit a site. Its always nice to keep someone there or even if they do leave make sure its via clicking an advert. If you are leaving it as one page then I would suggest removing the empty categories
outbound link should not be do follow, you need off-page for website to increase the back links or traffic on your website.
Hi Attith, There are a lot of methods to improve your websites search rank - but you can't count on a copy and paste mentality. First of all - pay attention to Mega B's last post in regards to trademark issues. That could put an quick end to all your fun. Also - everyone who is saying to "off-page" probably didn't take a look at your site. 99% of the time I see websites fail due to lack of unique, optimized content - something that alone can put your rankings on the first page. You have 1 page - is it all 100% unique copy/text? If not then the duplicate content rules will basically ignore your site (and pay attention to where you got the text from like an article ect. if thats the case). You need to create more content - more variation and more value. Think of Google as a human being who works countless hours. Their job is to take all the sites and sort them into piles - with the best on top for each keyword. Why would they put your site on top? This is another common mistake - OPTIMIZE CONTENT FOR HUMANS, NOT ROBOTS. The robots/spiders are only there to determine relevance based on human definition - so make your site as relevant to real visitors and you will see your search rankings also improve. With more variation you'll open up doors to long-tail keywords traffic - ie. "Samsung Fridge Models", or "Samsung Fridge Reviews." Commonly, the most competitive keywords yield the least in terms of "result to effort" - whereas it's easy to dominate the results for some long-tail terms which can quickly send you qualified leads. Start ON-PAGE, contrary to what others might be saying. You have a lot of work yet to do on your own site before networking/linking will be as useful. Build more content, select 3-5 MAIN keyword phrases and focus on them throughout your entire site (not spamming, good rule of thumb is 1-2 times per paragraph if it works contextually). Also - internal link structure is very important for crawl-ability and user navigation - so make sure you put some time into linking your pages/content to each other in a methodical and useful fashion. (Use keywords/anchor text ect. on your own links) Really, there is a ton you should learn before getting to deep into off-page optimization methods, and I would advise that for the majority of people here as well. Spammy link tactics, BUYING links, ect. will lead you into a Google penalty.. especially if you haven't taken the time to perfect your on-page optimization. Focus on your own site for now and let Google move you up - just remember why they rank people (for humans). When you get to off-page, approach it strategically just like anything else in marketing. If you build links with no regard to scheduling or trust - you're begging for a Google penalty. Good luck! Cheers, Kris S.
I can see few useful tips above. Here are few by me: Whatever you do, always keep everything "natural" for search engines. Explanation: By natural, I mean, always use white hat SEO strategies and avoid SPAM SEO. Content is also said to be THE KING when it comes to search engine optimization. Write unique and original content for readers that would interest them in your site. Don't write specifically for search engines using your keywords over and over, but use keywords in a logical sense that would not irritate your readers. For Off-Page SEO, just focus on relevant and targeted link building channels of your niche. Rest would be fine as long as you avoid black hat techniques. Good luck,
Your domain is trademark infringement and puts you at risk for being sued and/or having the domain taken from you in a WIPO action. I would drop the domain before you have legal issues.
Is the domain registered by any of the samsung refrigerator?? if so, then they can ask you to redirect your domain to their site or if you have the rights of this domain then its well and fine. Yes, using white hat seo strategies will definitely increase your rankings in SERP's slowly. You can have some of the off page techniques such as forum postings and blog commenting, which will increase your rankings.
Wrong. Samsung is a trademark. Any use in a domain is infringement - especially when the site is about their product.
