    Yep, did the same thing yesterday. SpyGlass tells me what to do to get ranked well, before I actually do something. Worth every penny and then some.

    Yes this tool is awesome, but why SpyGlass only pulls 1000 backlinks when you analyze a competitor ?

    If competitor has 5000 backlinks, it should analyze it all.

    Well, I guess because it pulls the data from the search engines, and search engines only let you browse through 1,000 results. No more, no less.

    Sure, Yahoo! will tell you you got 12,000 backlinks, but you'll only be able to go to page #100 in the SERPs, hence 1,000 backlinks.

    What I'm trying to say, is that it's even theoretically impossible to get more than 1,000 from the search engines.

    I got SEO Elite but i cant get to grips with it i just don't think it is worth it myself but maybe that is because i have not yet see the potential.

    So far i would stay clear.

    ps, IBP is way better.

    I've been using SEO Elite for more than 4 years and have had tremendous results. As a disclaimer, I'm also an affiliate and offer a full review of the tool at SEO Elite Software Review, so consider the source.

    With that out of the way, I found it's back link analyzer and reporting on current your website's ranking for specific keywords. These two features have saved me TONS of time. There may be other tools out there that accomplish the same thing but the UI w/SEO Elite is simple and fast.

    The key to using the product is monitoring your progress and using the information to build back links to your site. If you stay the course and work the software, the software will work for you.
