I was not sure where to post this question but its about the program SEO Elite. I cannot get anything to come up when I do an Analyze Backlinks search it just keeps saying 100% complete but does not show anything under any of the views. Well thanks for any help, Travis
Are you sure you have all the updates? I used it yesterday and it was fine. Email support...I had something similiar happen with the project that tells how many pages indexed....there was an update about a month ago or so.
Yeah mine is working fine too. Perhaps you need to double check your selected options. It should offer to update the software automatically when you load it up. If you can't figure it out, you would be best off e-mailing the software company who makes it.
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong I have included screen shots here of my "fully functional trial version" http://www.totalcomputerrepair.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/seo-elite-image.jpg And this is the results: http://www.totalcomputerrepair.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/seo-elite-image2.jpg edit: And this is what Griz gets: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_DahvN8dNA...w/_qAnmX6wxkU/s1600-h/SEO+Elite+Backlinks.jpg editx2: This is my options page: http://www.totalcomputerrepair.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/seo-elite-image3.jpg I can get results for AllTheWeb but that's it
Weird...I tried the same url and options and I get results. Try reinstalling SEO Elite. Perhaps it developed some kind of glitch somehow. I guess I shouldn't help you if you're going after my credit card traffic lol. Also try selecting a different search engine to see if you get results. Perhaps your ip or something is blocked from doing automated Yahoo queries.
na not doing credit card research just using that as an example. I can get alltheweb results but nothing for yahoo or google.
Well in that case I am here to help Was your software working before? Did you perhaps spam the search engines too much while using it or similar software?
Nope I just installed it a few hours ago and only tried a couple queries based on a guide I was reading, that's how I figured out it was not working. I can still use yahoo Link checking and no I didn't use any other software just installed this last night and used it today. thank you for your help btw
I have no idea why it wouldn't work then. You should contact Bryxen Software with the problem. There is a contact us link when you click the help button within seo elite. They should be more than willing to help diagnose the problem.
Eh? Have you chosen the search engines? Try Google and AlltheWeb. Seems like you are only analyzing backlinks from Yahoo. Also, that's because you're on threads tab. Click the other tabs on the right. Click the Reports Tabs to see the backlinks and the Analysis Tabs tab to see the anchor text percentage.
If you are doing a lot of lookups, there may be a temporary block on your IP. Just throwing that out there for what its worth. Good luck.
Yep I choose Yahoo and Google and nothing comes up for any of the tabs. The threads view is the only one that shows anything for Yahoo and Google it shows "status: completed" and that's it. Alltheweb results I get all 3 tabs with lots of information but that is just for that search engine. Note: I get results for AltaVista also.
As I was saying. Click the reports and analysis tabs. The Threads tabs are only for the update of the program on how much it has completed. You'll see the results in the other tabs. It's either that or Google and Yahoo searches are protected from SEO Elite
those tabs are empty. The only tab that has anything is the "threads view" tab which just says "completed" and nothing else. Maybe because it's the trial version? Even though it says fully functional but I guess you guys answered what my REAL question was, that it does work and this is just an isolated incident. Thanks all!
Well google and yahoo links didn't work for me , I always choose alltheweb for getting the links analyzed.
are you on the trial also or the full version? Maybe it's just the trial? event though it says fully functional?
their tech support claims that it's only me and that I have a firewall which I do not. SEO Elite is very crappy software if you ask me. SEO Elite and their support are way below standards.
