SEO Elite - is it worth it?

I'm a member of dealdotcom saw that they had SEO Elite for sale as the days deal. I noticed that it's now sold out, did anyone pick it up? Is it worth it?

 

I don't see any benefit in it over free tools already available.

 

SEO elite is little outdated now, but it does package everything together well. I used years back and learnt quite a bit from it.

 

I think a more comprehensive package is IBP ... elite is a bit clunky and is just a bunch of free tools thrown together. IBP tells you what to do in comparison with the top 10

 

I don't rely on SEO tools. They are not 100% accurate even if it's the registered one.. It is just guides to SEO... Manual SEO is the best....

 

You at least need tools for keyword research!

 

I just use tools to give me information and I make my seo decisions from. Manual SEO will always net better results because you have more control over the process.

 

Dont waste your time and money for nothing !

 

Bear in mind that Overture is a core function in most of these packages and it's future is very much in question... if it is not working, most packages like this lose functionality. Open a n Adwords account and use their keyword tool. Also, there are great tools here at Digitalpoint and check on the free tools at Nichebot.

 

I find SEO elite very helpful. It gives you good info about the competitors and you can easily check where your site is ranked for each keyword. But the question is, is it worth the price? If you are lazy or dont want to spend to do alot of stuff manually then Yes.

 

That is exactly why I do not like IBP that much - how one can be sure that the on-page optimization of the top-10 pages is what YOU need?

I do not think that I should delete my keywords from the title tag because my competitor do not use them.

SEO strategy must be individual! Not copycatting your competitors.

 

But if you are rank 15 and they are rank 5 they are obviously doing better optimization than you, although it's probably off-page optimization anyway.

 

Yep, that is what I mean - IBP proposes to delete the keyword from the title, as I said. But, if they are 5, so they should have a lot of backlinks. If I believe IBP and remove that keyword, it will not help me to become â„–1, 2 or 10.

Instead of deleting and adding something that IBP says, I will better continue work on linkbuilding
