oh so what software do you recomend. I want to start pushind some traffic to my site and i really dont want to spend a lot of money do you have any suggestions?
Some time ago I was just like you - I was asking about SEO software, reading reviews and articles, I even found myself practically clicking "buy now" button at SEO Elite, but finally felt I am hypnotized by marketing hype. As I have written there I have recently bought WebCEO as I tried their free edition and was really impressed by it. So some days ago I was happy to receive a letter from them announcing a great discount. I saved $200! and got great SEO software.
I do not want to give strong recommendation, I just can name the software I usually use (of course with my brains on) - it is Web CEO. Not bad as for me, especially comparing to others. Rather expensive, but as CRX mention the prices now are reduced
What you need is an elite SEO not SEO Elite trust me, however you say money is tight. Here's my suggestions read about basic SEO methods & do some on site SEO then just get backlinks, that's a link from a site to yours. The above is sound advice that is worth more than SEO elite & will get you better results.

Well I don't know about you Toe but SEOelite has saved a bunch of time. Maybe its because I've have yet to see better seotools! Ill give that webSEO a try.
Free edition is not bad really, I have used it for a long time and then, when I became to work with the clients I needed nice reports with my own logo so I have purchased professional edition. So I think free edition would be enough for you to know what WebCEO can. Good like to you in all your SEO undertakings!
What did you use SEO ELite for? Well, now talking a lot about how good WebCEO is I think I should not do this because it is much better to be the only user of good software and not to create competition to myself
On the side not - I am currently writing a free suite of really useful SEO tools - what do you feel is omitted from current top software (seoelite and webceo)?
I have downloded my free webSEO software and have been watching the tutorials these software seems amazing and i really dont see how anyone else can top it .
What I like about SEO Elite is that it has the function to generate a links page, i.e. if my readers come to my site and try to jog their memory any site they can find it as a link in my resource. Yes, it is somewhat time-consuming to check the links I'm providing and think of a high-quality description but it is worth having the option on. The negative side - the search algos are evolving and they lay the stress more on site age, usage data, etc., naturally decreasing the value of an extensive link profile. So I'm remaining natural in the discussion

I use SEO Elite every day. It helps me keep track of how my sites are performing for the specific keywords I am working on. I do not use the link building feature because I use Press Release for my back link strategy. But I know how well my plan is working by constantly monitoring how my sites are performing. SEO Elite does not solve SEO problems, but it does help guide your decision making process and tell you how your strategies are working

didn't they refunded you? If you can't install it you can't use it - they can't provide the service you paid for.
I asked for refund and they said that they would send my letters to Brad Callen (the creator of SEO Elite) so he would help me. All this ended up with me finding and solving the problem by myself. Now it works but I do not use it.
