I am working in a software company as SEO, recently we have migrated our company site form HTML to JOOMLA, I want to know if this affects the site ranking and SERPS position. I have kept 301 redirections to the new site URL's.
I also want to know if joomla is SEO friendly..?
    Please help me with this

    Thanks in advance

HTML and JOOMLA are two kinds of things, not comparable.

every website's client is HTML and that's what search engine can see.

JOOMLA can be SEO friendly, depends on your configuration.

I don't think it will effect your site ranking if you keep your content not changed.

Since you got to do it, you might as well do it - its a good change, but remember to go to Global configurations (in the Joomla Admin panel) and change your URL to search engine friendly URLs that way you will have urls that won't hurt the SE's eyes.
