    Hi All,

Question for the SEO experts out there.

I have an ASP.NET Calendar control on my homepage - the contract contains links with numbers for each day of the month - the links post back to the page.

When using some keyword analysis SEO tools I'm seeing that the numbered links (i.e 1 to 31 for the days of month) come up as suggested keywords for my page as they are prominent links.

Has anyone else had any experience with this? I don't want google to see my most useful content as a bunch of numbers!

    Cheers,
    Dale

If you don't want your calendar to figure prominently in the optimization of your homepage, I suggest you create another page for it. What remains in your home page will just be "Book A Cleaner Now" that is hyperlinked to your calendar page.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks Ismael,

You've confirmed what I suspected might be the case. I think I'll move the celendar to later in the booking process.

Generally, how long does it take for the major engines (i.e google) to pick up on changes to sites?

GoogleBot apparently sees the words from my privacy policy and terms and conditions most prominently and as such these are the main keywords for my site. I've added robots.txt to exclude these; and removed the pages using google webmaster tools; but according to google webmaster tools these are still the most prominent. I've heard its best to remove the links to privacy and terms completely - what do you suggest?
