hi friends, i want to know about the google indexer? i know that Googlebot gives the indexer the full text of the pages it finds. These pages are stored in Google’s index database. This index is sorted alphabetically by search term, with each index entry storing a list of documents in which the term appears and the location within the text where it occurs. but each site have large amount of data..how the google indexer indexed and retrieved data from the data base? when we send a query?is it very fast action rit?..how it hapens?.. what are the documents stored in the indexer?..full data s of the pages or only text?..
Nice Question, here are a couple of resources that will give you a clearer answer : http://blog.httpwatch.com/2007/11/05/why-is-google-so-fast/ And http://www.searchengineposition.com/info/Articles/GoogleFast.asp
full data of the pages.......................not only the content.........some time it can pick up your alt tags.............for indexing...........
Hi, Nice and interesting question, When you type any search query you are given up results related to web pages or sometime articles or videos or images, since they are with well keyword stuff and also the content plays a major role.
