SEO disadvantages

I usually heard a lot of SEO advantages, but how do you think does SEO have any disadventages?

 

These are the dis advantages of SEO

1 SEO don't bring results within hours. It take time and it is a long term marketing thing.
2 SEO results can be unstable and a website can go much down in search engines from page 1.

 

That over optimization can come back to hurt you. But it is quite unlikely.

 

I don't think so there is any disadvantage of SEO. People around the world earn millions and billions from their online businesses. Yes we can say that spamming is the disadvantage of SEO.

 

there are many of the disadvantages of the seos and one of them is ppc is a very serious disadvantage and should be avoided always prefer to use adsense for the seos

First of all we should focus on advantages, you can't run a website traffic all on paid ads, right? So just start doing it

There arn´t any disadvanteges of seo, as long as it´s not your only traffic strategy.

Use high quality link building and content syndication, and you will get almost instant traffic while you help to increase your search engine rankings! It´s not a good idea to only concentrate on seo, as it takes time to see resluts and your traffic will completely depend on Googles searcj algorithm (They optimize them several times per year, so you may loose your rankings almost instantly)

Mix up seo with other strategies like article marketing, squidoo lenses, free blogs and video marketing.

 

Like there are cases of the advantages of SEO the same applies to SEO proving to be disadvantageous too, but it is not true for everyone, it is especially for those not more likely to be following the search engines guidelines.

 

It has some disadvantages. If you fail to follow proper strategy in SEO, it will not give you good result. Moreover, if you use black hat techniques, it will ruin you IM career. It's a lengthy process to get good result, need much more efforts, result is not always stable one and soon be replaced by another site.

 

SEO income in unstable above all else. I have a large portfolio of sites and it is still unstable. Google updates won't take out all your sites if you're building them well, but the updates will take out some sites and they can be difficult (sometimes impossible) to recover.

 

IMHO

1. Time Consuming and it takes a lot of time to get a good result.
2. You have to be updated with current and latest webmaster trends.
3. Good Analytical Thinking (how to get good ranking out of your task)
4. Tons of Patience.

 

SEO Disadvantages it takes long time to get result but many advantage in SEO

 

1. SEO can increase website hosting costs

Highly visible websites receive significantly more visitors, both welcome and unwelcome. This will result in a large increase in unwanted contacts such as spam and sales calls.
This adds an admin cost to the business and is a real disadvantage of SEO.
2. SEO can generate too many website leads / sales
This can be a major problem. Leads and Sales are needed, but too many can add an extra cost.

Over optimization can possibly hurt your website, as the spammy links can also cause your website to suffer in the rankings.

 

These are not the disadvantages. This merely shows that SEO is not an easy process. One disadvantage though can be that one can waste time doing SEO with no evident results.

 

Main disadvantage of SEO is that it give result very late.
