SEO Directory Strategy

We are building a link directory to support our 7 poker/casino sites. I need SEO advice. Should I make this directory a subdomain of our #1 site or set up its own domain name?

Or do you have a better idea? I want to do whatever is best for long term SEO. This directory will have general catagories as well as poker/casino links.

I think subdomain and subdirectory are discussed a lot, Please do a search and check hem out.

 

Its better to have a enitre different domain... for your directory...

Subdomains give a kind of link exchange feel to the directory... My perception ofcourse..

ALso on SEO part, its better to have your directory on a entirely different domain.. because linking back to your sites from a different site altogether will hold more wieghtage compared to your subdomain directories..

At present I have PR0 but that is because my site is new as of June. I am aiming for more backlinks at present.

 

I know this post is old, but the more pages under one url the better for seo. I would seriously consider this for future builders!
