SEO & descriptions under a link directory entry

    Just out of curiosity, is there any point at all in writing a description for the links you submit in web directories, or on social bookmarking sites, if you're only doing so for the anchor text?

    The description itself should best describe the anchor text you used and should be well-written, no grammatical errors and unique
