Thanks, Sounds like I have my work cut out for me this weekend...

 

I just wanted to thank everyone again for the posts. I have one month left and I have a feeling that he has something up his sleeve for the last week of the competition.

If anyone knows any other ideas that I can do to boost up rankings for the last week please PM me.

Were should I blog to? What are some good places?

 

Since you have limited time, normal SEO concepts won’t work and waiting for back links to be register by Google won’t be done in time. So…

If you work for a company that has a group of people that will help, then ask them to set the default home page to Alyssa Ashworth. Each time they open a browser, they add traffic to the web site. The more traffic you get, the higher you will rank. Your friend is doing a spin-off of this.

Second, get all family members to set their default home page to it as well and then click on it once a day until the contest is over.

Then ask each member to search on the keyword “Alyssa Ashworth”. When the SERPs come up, have them click only on your site.

And finally, ask the forum to do the same. Google looks at the Keyword’s SERP selection.

Have fun and don't be supprised if Google jumps on you for Spamming.

Thanks, I was #1 for a couple of weeks and he has steped it up by using squidoo...The nerve...lol...

My latest effort will be to go and create pages on all of the big sites like this and then link back to my main site...www.Alyssa-Ashworth.com

Create an article @ ezinearticles.com and in the resource box link back to your site.

This way the article you create will most probably dominate google for the term Alyssa Ashworth, however it will contain your link.

I got you as number one and two for the search term with you competition at 4. I think you are doing well. If you get in some quality directories with the term as your anchor text, you will have your friend beat. Just keep link building and you will be the hands-down winner!

Use some Form Plugin with your FireFox like InFormEnter to speedily submit to these directories.
