I am looking for native English speakers preferably, with excellent English literacy skills. However you must have basic SEO knowledge, be familiar with Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal and understand the following concepts at least : Keyword research, identifying primary and secondary keywords, focussing on search volume, long tail optimization, CPC, etc. Keyword density and keyword alternation, understand a keyword density graph, achieve a balance between reader friendly and search engine friendly content, differentiate between content that is keyword stuffed or balanced, etc. (Seasoned content writers will understand the points above). Internal & External linking – understanding the concepts of anchor text, identifying strong resources for external linking (understand PR trickle/backflow “theoryâ€). All content writers will be provided with training to hone their SEO content writing skills by the agency but you must have at a few articles ranked on Google’s top 30 for keywords/phrases (maximum 4 words) with big to medium search volume. I may want to verify this. Here is the crunch point. You have to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in your given field from a reputable university and your qualification will be verified irrespective of where in the world you live. Our clients want specialist content, not general content. You need to know what you are talking about in your work and that is why only professionals are hired and trained as content writers so that they do not need to read, research and understand new concepts on subjects. They are already familiar with the subject matter. Some of our clients (independent bloggers and networks of blogs) earn their income through CPC, CPA while small to medium business clients are entirely CPA and microsites for larger corporate clients focus more on traffic to the parent website.
