SEO company asked me $500 for link building, can I?

    $500 is quite high for SEO but with 50 one way links but its also depends on the package and what services they are offering

    it's all about the owner of the site, if he/she accept the price, then that's it, they just make some easy bucks, but what you need to do is to do it all by yourself and don't pay for it, or...you could just pay and wait and see what are you getting for those 500 $

    anyway, if i had this money, i would pay a link in yahoo directory and pay about 50 $ for some low quality links

    anyway, it's up to you

    50 links for $500? It depends on the quality. It could take a day to get one quality backlink as opposed to few hours to generate 50 low quality backlinks. A lot of linkbuilding companies get the backlinks for low grade three way think exchanges or give you 50 links from their network of sites. Which usually doesn't give you much value.

    That is incorrect. Links in posts are dofollow although blog comment links are usually nofollow because the links are not editorial.
