I just doubdted a SEO company asked me $500 for 50 one way links. Can anyone know how they do link building? I don't want directory, article submissions sine Google give no importance. Samely 90% blogs are no-follow in comments and content too. So how its possible for them to build 50 one way links with this high cost?

Have they told you about any page rank or are they simple backlinks
Simple one way backlinks are possible for much lesser price
But getting high PR pages backlinks may cost that much or higher

For $10, don't expect quality permanent links. People spend thousands per year for a single quality link in some niches. 50 one way links showing up at the same time isn't likely to look natural anyway (unless your site have a ton of existing links).

It depends your own budget, and u should ask yourself, what they promise u? How much u will get? And any Plan B?

After all of these, then u will have a clear idea if that a good deal or something.

If u get 50 permanent links from pr4+ sites for this budget is good, before commit get th esite detail and also ask the way of link building.. if its from forum, dir, article sites then do not pay.. bcz if not continue link building in the next PR / BL updation .. u will loose all........

    Hi
There are lots of ways to do this yourself and one which I love and use is from a company called g-lock and its a blog finder. It finds blogs on any subject you put in and then ranks them as 'do' or 'dont follow' plus gives you pagerank etc. Awesome and around $40 i think

Oh man, That is too much. $500 for 50 links.
Even you can do it by yourselves. Just allocate 1 hour per day, within 3-5 days, you can do it.
Use forums - related to your niche, as well as DOFOLLOW blogs related to your niche.
I am sure there is a way to find out dofollow blogs related to your niche. I have found that way in this DP forum, I am sure, that really helps a lot to get fast SERP

Link building is such a difficult task. but it is too much to pay 500 $ for this. So reconsider it.

Well, I believe the best thing you could do here is negotiate. Talk about what you are expecting and what they are going to provide. It's not about revealing anyone's tricks of the trade, it's a normal way to make a deal.

A SEO company won't tell you their strategies. They will only let you know what you need to know. Normally the high cost associated with this type of service is the fact that some of that money goes towards getting you the links. The rest is their commission.

It seems reasonable to me if it will be quality links. All you need to worry about is if it will be relevant to your website and not in bad sites like directories like you have mentioned. You should ask them on what type of sites they will get the backlinks. Paying that much, you have the right to know.

You need to know that professional SEO/SERP is a time consuming thing, bud.
It's not possible to evaluate whether that offer is cheap or pricy. I suggest to proceed like this...

    1. Ask for a detailed quotation
    2. Ask for references

If this offer contains permanent back links from quality sites including some authority websites like .gov and .edu it's pretty cheap, if you ask me.

Apart from that don't neglect directory and article submissions; it's still a part of basic SEO.

for that price, I think they will do link exchange and blogging, like creating sub pages from free hosting blogs like squido, hub, wetpaint and others.

Ask them the details. More details you get more you can decide. Ask about the period the links will stay.

Most SEO companies buy links. They get $10 from you. Spend $5 and $5 is the profit. This is how they work. Be careful.

$500 is okay for 50 one way links if they are PR4 or higher. And mainly, you need to know how they will place links. Simply they are blog comments or permanent link ? Anyways, $500 is high amount.

    What is your niche??
if they offer PR4 of higher 50 Links and relevant links then its ok.
Some niches are very competitive and hard to get links.

Not all links are created equally so having them tell you they'll build 50 links really means nothing. I'd take a link on the main page of google over 1000 links from almost anywhere else. Quality is more valuable than quantity.
