SEO Companies - Worth it?

Hi

I am on page 1 for keyword "advanced driving course" which is a massively important keyword for me....but I need the top spot. I am at bottom of page 1 so doing ok.

Is it worth employing an seo company for this, or could I just get advice from you kind people on this forum and get there alone...If it is just a case of getting inbound links do I really need to pay someone else..

I have done all seo on my site - www.driversdomainuk.com and have not done too bad so far

Could be a tad complicated to move that up a bit. I will try to do a bit of research real fast. It does not look too terrible though.

Depends on competition, a good SEO company is usually able to do more than the famous "DP Mantra" - you need more links. Which is a crap answer and shows that those so called SEOs have no idea what SEO really means and is.

 

Kind of an open ended question. It's worth it if you can find someone who can ethically get you in the top spot and you make more money than you have to spend to do it.

How can anyone tell you if "its' worth it". It's your business.

Follow DP, SEO Blogs and do your own work. That is unless you have money and no time as someone stated above

 

Moving up ranking once you are on the first page can be exponentially harder than moving from say page 4 to 3

I did a bit of quick research for you and for the keyword "advanced driving course" you are Page 1 Position 7 on Google UK.

I believe you overtake the 6th position http://www.bsm.co.uk/learner-drivers/your-driving-life/refresher-advanced-extra-lessons with some effort

I believe in order to overtake the 5th position www.advanced-driving.co.uk will take a tremendous amount of effort based on domain age, site link structure, backlinks and other SEO factors.

The 4th and 3rd position would take a tremendous amount of effort. Effort I think would be better spent going after another keyword 1st page placement.

if you are on page 1 then now why you are going to hire a SEO company ,if you have knowledge about SEO then do some extra effort ,you will get the result soon.
