I've heard people working for SEO firms claiming that they have their own secret trade. Do you believe of secret trade in search engine optimization?
There is always a secret combination that can rank your page at top more easily. But those SEO guys have to work hard because Google keeps discovering those "holes".
SEO is no secret. there is no SEO farm out there who wil know something secret that other SEO experts dont. just a marketing gimmick
of course some are very much better than others. theyre probably not on farms though seo is mainly about knowing what is important and what isn't in the deluge of (mis)information available on the subject
its a skill dude! get trial and error some says, seo is a science of Internet marketing... sounds funny right?
for sure, there are good ones and not so good ones. besides, people who do it on a professional basis dont have any excuse to slack off. they just get better over time and also have certain men hour committed to each project. but the secret they claim to know are also known by other good seo farms
Yes, I believe some top SEO companies have their own little dirty secrets, but most others use that statement as a marketing plot. If you were to choose between two companies focusing on SEO, one with the average speech and one with the "we know something the competition doesn't" who are you going to choose?
Not true there are always new ways of going about things. There are always new methods that work that even the experts don't know.
If there already exists one, you will never know it, or else even if you learn it, it won't matter by then.
there are a lot of ways to do SEO and cannot be enclosed in a few tiny step by step process. of course when you said everything out in the open then other SEO companies will get this style and maybe put you out of business. just like in the food industry, there is a known knowledge on cooking but the recipes for great flavor and exotic food remains a kitchen secret for major corporations.
No SEO firm has a secret. If they think they do or advertise that they have a secret then avoid them. Look for people who will work hard and get results using the well known techniques...or do it yourself with the same techniques.
I think the thing to watch with SEO firms is marketing gimmicks, to an extent if you believe 100% what you are told by someone, without having much knowledge on the subject it can be risky when at the end of the day the person wants to sell you the services. Always get past client references and mutiple quotes on SEO, I have had good experiences with clients on SEO and bad experiences, first thing I try to do is educate the client about what SEO is and how it works and show them every little thing we do and why, even then though people come back saying "I want to be number 1, why have you not got me there yet".
Choose the SEO company based on track record. Ask them to submit their past project experience and ask them to give you a certain time line to achieve an objective.
I would need to know exactly what they're doing to my site and why. I'd stay clear of them if they "guarantee" me anything. SEO is not something you can guarantee, because it doesn't depend on you completely.
