I've been updating the site using Dreamweaver 8.0.2 and the client tells me to today that they are receiving the following error when they try to access it. Any idea what could be wrong? Their Dreamweaver was acting fine before.

Double check all the settings are correct on their side. When accessing a site from Dreamweaver, you need to input the exact settings. For example:

In remote folder, you need to put in your www folder or generally known as, public_html. Double check this from your end and pass the info onto them.

Also make sure your port number (21) isn't blocked. This is mostly always open, but things do happen.

Is your website using IPv6? If so, they need to check the box in their properties.

From their end, make sure they haven't updated any firewall software or block any ports restricting them to access your website.

There are a few more possibilities, though I'm sure a quick Google search should give you some more answers.

The common mistake to remember is to always go through your details EXACTLY.

    Good luck :)
