Statistics + Issue Search Term---------------------------is bigfoot a myth Websites Position on Google-----------------------------------#1 SEO Book's Google Daily Est-------------904 Actual Traffic--------------------------App. 10 views SEO Book is Inaccurate! Um... Hm.. Is it me or is SEO Book a little "inaccurate" when it comes to telling you how much traffic you should get everyday for a certain key term? I rank #1 on google for the phrase: is bigfoot a myth. SEO Book estimated that I would get around 900 views a day for this term. I only get around 10. Is SEO Book inaccurate or is it just me? An accurate daily, weekly, or monthly key term traffic estimator? Also, what is a good program that estimates daily traffic based on Keywords. A program like SEO Book would be nice to hear about. But let's make sure it's accurate this time please... Don't say Keyword Elite either. Because when it comes to Daily Estimates, Keyword Elite is way off. Anyone know of anything good?
That search shows New York Times as a news link above the main results and CCN at number 3. I would assume many users would go to one of those 2 news sites when searching first. Been number 1 in google does not always give max results. It depends what other results show near the top as well.
Even with NewYork Times above me, I'd still get more than 10 views daily. Trust me. I know well enough. If your theory was and is correct that'd mean that all '900+' people who search for keyterm: is bigfoot a myth, completely missed my site, otherwise known as the second result on the page. Yep. Doubtful. To me, this obviously shows that SEO Book is inaccurate. Can someone else with more experience jump in on the subject?
Use the google adwords tool and check exact match traffic. Then divide by 1/2 and you should be in the ballpark.
