Anyone using SEO Board? If so, what do you think of it? I'm interested in feedback from both a user and admin point of view. http://www.seo-board.com/
I use minibb.net, which is/was basically the same. (Though in last few months both might have moved in a slightly different directions.) Minibb is very simple, extremely simple admin, little fetures, but good for search engines. I believe it is not that good for sites where you wish to build strong user core with returning users (they would demand more features), but it is extremely good for sites where people are only expected to post few times. As for the difference between minibb and seo-board, I hope the author or someone who used both could enlighten us. I am sure there must be something, yet few months ago there was very little difference visually as far as I could tell, not sure about other features.
The first version of SEO-Board is influenced by minibb because I have been using minibb for a lot of time before I decided to write seo-board. So I cannot not be influenced by minibb's ideas. The next version of SEO-Board which would be out in 2-3 months will be quite different from minibb - all stuff in the db, more admin features, signatures, avatars, rss feeds, faster code etc. The stuff not in plans currently is a PM system and polls.
