    Hi
Should I SEO my website for about 2-3 months , & then launch it ?
I mean do all directory submissions, link building, link emailing, article submissions etc , for 2-3 months, so the website gets a good ranking in Google & then launch it & get traffic ?

What do you guys recommend ?

Please do not ask me why I want to do it this way , coz I have no answer, its just my gut feeling !

    Thanks
    Ishan

I would say do the reverse process :)
Launch the website , wait for couple months and then start the SEO slowly

You should make the on page seo before submitting the site to search engines. the off page seo process takes much more time, launch the site, then try to get one or two backlinks a week, (with the right anchor texts of course). Don't buy too many backlinks in a short period of time!

you better make sure that basic seo standards are followed before the launch of the website. Because if your site doesnt even have minimum SEO standards, it will suffer from proper indexing. So I suggest basic SEO standards should be applied before the launch of the site.
