I want to know that if for building the postion of a website in google and yahoo serps; if the page having the backlink to your site has a PR 0 then its no use of that backlink. Isn't this true how far do you agree to this guys!! please explain and help me out
how quickly the backlinks are noticed by the search engine if a website providing a backlink has a PR 3 where the link is placed someone please tell me!
PR and back links both are different but seo point of view back links are much impotent compare with PR
I think PR and back link both are important but in Terms of SERP back links is most important against PR. back link and PR no direct Connect to SERP. first time it's depend on your on page optimization and content of page. if your site is old then back link is also connect to SERP.
I still believe that even the site has low PR or PR 0 it can still help as long as the site was related to your site.
My dear Friend Who said this ? Do you have any proof ? how can you prove this ? So listen you are absolutely wrong though PR is not very closely related to SERP but do you know how SERP rise. If you build 1000 backlinks with PR 0 with a single anchor text and if you build 5 backlinks with .gov site with page rank 8 having same anchor text then obviously your serp with be top instead of that with 1000 backlinks. i Completely agree with choicefreedom2000 . PR is Equally important however PR is not directly Related to SERP.
A pr0 link does not mean that it is useless, the only links that are useless are those that are not in the google or yahoo index. It is never good that all your links are pr0 in the same way if all your links are pr7 and above either could raise warning flags in googles eyes. It is best to keep your link profile and rate of links natural and constant. This will include pr0 links.
ok guys! someone tell me If there is a new website and it has got just two links from a PR5 page (that also from a blog page under the space where it says write your comments with a link to my new website) how far do you think google and yahoo will notice that ? in how many days will it notice the link has been added and when will it increase the SERP position . remember i am not talking about the PR of the new site but instead the ranking position in search engine for the targetted keyword. is it true a backlink from a page having a PR7 and more will be noticed by google and yahoo quickly then the site giving backlink with a lower PR? Please answer my questions
The important thing in how often a link is noticed by google is how often the pagethat the link is on is spidered, You can get an idea of this by checking the cache date of the page in google. There are a few factors in how often a page is noticed by google they are PR, frequency of updates and amount of links to the page. I could not tell you which one of these is the most important.
