i am an IT engineer graduate fresher and and currently unemployed and due to recession there no opportunity in software development.but i am getting offer for SEO job in should i opt for this line is there any future in SEO as SEO is not taken seriously in my field and many are unawre of SEO. please SEO experts guide me i am really confused thanks

join the SEO field only if you know what it is...joining it because you aren't getting any job related to your studies will be wrong. although SEO is comparatively easy but requires lot of patience and dedication. i enjoy doing it because i love it. if you have the same enthusiasm for it only then opt for it
ya only if you wat it is about and really interested in such a kind of work..then only opt for it...otherwise if you want to go into development then maybe u wont lik SEO work...

Yeah, if you are unable to find a job at development side..Then go for SEO, coz i think it is a better one compare to other outsourcing jobs..Here you can learn a lot of things if you have zeal towards Internet..My advice to you is just join in that(SEO) and later by getting some work experience you can shift to your own field, if you won't feel good...Thanks......
oh im also engineer frm mubai passes in this 2008 batch joined as a SEO n njying my work.........rather than screwing up your life sitting bak n programing good to make invoative ideas to promote your business or any thing and rank good in google........ u can definately join SEOwork if ur able to do few repeative things for long time and make some new ideas to promote your business it might develop yuor web designing skills while adding meta tags to the site.....................can learn dat also.......................and many =ve poinst ot work as as SEO not knw but definately in tow years it will be like bomm in india.......coz evry body wnats to get good ranking in google....and if you srt knw after 2 years you will be master in understanding google algos and working accordingly.......................take up you own project and many more........................ya many ppl who passes out jst knw dnt kne SEO m also experincing the same things fo them its senior executive manager.....but we knw eat it is.....................n good to wrk on updated things rather than joingin same development crowd......................i hope this will guide to take your carrer decision
SEO for me is a very rewarding career if you know its ins and outs. I believe that there is a great future being an SEO professional as only 1 out of 20 web designers knows how to promote their website through SEO.
