I concur with the views of the second poster 'madkat'. What I am saying is that many people do full time seo for a living, and they charge in thousands of dollars, there are also small time operators in seo who charge much less in the field. The pricing and all that mostly depends on how big and small your projected business is, and what are your costs (for link building etc.) that can be billed.
