seo and templates, what to look for

Hey guys new here, i did a search and couldn't really find a relevant response.

I've been looking through wordpress templates lately and most of them use layered psd files and javascript. Being new to SEO i was wondering whether these files are any good for SEO or should i just stick to HTML/CSS.

I would like to suggest to you that if your site is static then you go with HTML/CSS and your site is dynamic then you must use some script and Joomla or php platform.

 

For me, I focus on the meta taggings and the keyword density, it is very important to have the correct keyword density as you want you site to get the attention of google spider bot.

 

I would say you go for wordpress if you have many pages in your website, CMS will help you there, & wordpress has huge no of plugins to install for SEO so i would say go for wordpress.

if i go wordpress, and choose a templates with javascript and layered PSD files does this affect the way spiders read the source code or does it not affect it?
