    Hey guys,

I was just wondering what you feel are the topics involving SEO and SEM that are the most needed.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

What exactly do you want to know? Are you looking for books and articles to read? Explain a bit more what you want to know.

If you want to learn about SEO then I would suggest you read Aaron Wall’s SEO Book, you won’t regret it. I actually wrote a small post about it today if you’re interested.

I think people would also be interested in other ways to promo their sites in addition to SEO. That's why we zero in on primary, alternative marketing strategies in our tutorial. You could research, identify and write about how best to accomplish these tasks -- toward the ultimate goal of liberating the webmaster from search engine dependency -- and cultivating alternate channels for traffic and income.

Look to write for articles that are not yet made and published online or with limited exposure. Surely a lot of articles on SEO have been focusing on optimizing the pages, linking, directory submissions, black hat methods.

Try to find niches that is not really developed well yet. What about top ten most useful Google Analytics feature? How to get penalized in MSN? How does Yahoo! judge pages when ranking them?

By doing so and in developing an interesting topic, your resource could be doing some link baiting which is very good.

I'm VERY new to SEO, so I could probably help. I'd love more information on how blogging and rss feeds can help in SEO. I read an article that talked about helping get backlinks by adding your link early in the blog and using phrases that are likely to be picked up by people using rss feeds for content.

I had no idea what an rss feed was, and had no blog experience at all. After a bit of reading and starting my own blog (see signature!) I think I'm starting to understand this (?) but it would be great to have this explained a little more.

Also, is there some way for me to find out if people are using rss feeds with my keywords, or to find pages/sites that are using mostly rss feeds with specific filters or keywords?

Hope this helps give an idea what total newbies are looking for! :)

    Hi oslocal,

You should write about current hot topic in SEO/ SEM industry -Social Media Optimazation & Social Bookmarking Sites.

Though many resources available but they are not as easy to understand. They are very higher standard and any newbie SEO won't able to understand it properly. You can simplify it on your article.

    Best wishes on you work.

Social media optimization has been new in August. It is relatively old now. Not that I don't have an article on social marketing, though.

BTW, you need to read other blogs to learn what they are about. Then you'll be able to write what no one writes about. This is one of the best tactics to create content. Then again, you can simply start building tutorials - just write what you know in an organized manner.
