SEO and Google

Hi, i'm a complete novice when it comes to SEO etc.

I am starting an e-commerce website and am not sure how to get it to show up in google searches. Please help?

Once this is done, I'd like to get someone to do some SEO work on my website and so was wondering if someone could recommend a company/person that could help.

I am a startup so cannot afford to spend loads.

if you dont have a budget for it, then you will be better off doing the SEO yourself. cause a decent seo company will not be cheap. you will find lots of so called seo companies out there who will work for $3 an hour but dont be fooled with that. anyone knowing SEO will not work for so cheap as they can make more money spending the time on their own projects.

my advice will be to start reading and learn as much as you can on SEO. see what you can do yourself. once you start generating some revenue form the site, then you will probably have some budget to spend on SEO to rank your site higher and generate more revenue.

 

I completely agree to read and understand more about SEO.
Try to search for companies.There's a lot.

To get your site to show up in Google searches you need to add your url. Type add url in a search engine and you will find the page to do this.
