SEO and Flash

    Is there a way to use alt img tags or something similar with flash to let google know what the show is about? Thanks,

    You should use flash sparingly on sites, it's not good for seo.

    Now google has started indexing flash also. So we dnt have to worry abt flash site

    If you dont have the money dont bother with flash.

    Most split test`s I have seen show that ugly boring sites convert more highly.

    You can use flash on some part of the page mostly where you want to put advertisement spots. But its not a good practice to use lots of flash stuff that displays images, or even text. But if you have money and can generate traffic through Adwords etc. then that is a different matter.

    As far as i know, Google has started to index flash sites. But to be doubly sure any sites ive done for clients - I include HTML beneath it. it doesnt take anything away from the site and the text is SEO friendly wich as got the sites indexed quickly to the top of google.
