this has been bothering me: what is the relationship between seo ranking and the age of your domain? does Google care about domain age? please provide an evidence. thank you.

I feel compelled to reply to your post although I have no evidence.

However, it has been proven that Google treats aged domains with a higher authority because you can't fake the age of a domain. A 10 year old domain is also going to get a higher PR faster than a brand new domain. I'm sorry if this is very obvious but thought I would add my $0.02. As an SEO company there is a LOT of value in aged domains, we love them!

    Hello,

google rank websites by many factor and this includes the authority level as well. It is only known to the google developers how they give authority........

But a aged domain will have more authority compared to a newer one. The fact is that if a 5 year old domain still exists in Google without any blackhats or illegal activities then it is most obvious that google will have more faith on that domain thus giving it more authority. Now no one knows which website have how much priority......

Now as i said that its only google who knows the authority level thus there is no evidednce available ......
