    Hi,

For those of you who use SEO to drive traffic to your sites that promote affiliate programs, how long does it take for you to rank high enough in the SERPS to get enough traffic to make money.

I wonder about this because even when I get above the fold with desired keywords, they sometimes don't bring in much traffic.

    Thanks.

You need min 6 months to rank high on first page of SERPs to get massive results.
I hope you make your objective of ranking high for your keywords.

3 months low competition keys 6 to 12+ for high competition.

    Keyword research is crucial....

SEO is great for somethings......not so good for others.

I spent 3 years chasing diamond keys and came to realize nobody with an IQ over 50 is going to drop $10K on a diamond online....:(

Finding your target market and advertising to them will often see much better ROI.

Thanks for the replies. This is as I thought.

I wonder how the black hat SEOs do it, when Google is bound to want to ban their sites way before they get that old...

    Any more input greatly appreciated.
