Hi all, I am trying to target the word franchize because as a mis-spelling it gets lots of searches. The first result on Google (UK) is a domain holding page which is useless. I thought that this was therefore an easy keyword to target for SERPS. But my blog is not listing well for this keyword, can someone help? The URL is: http://tinyurl.com/69laor If someone can help me with guidance on how to improve SEO so we appear in top 5 results for this term? I have made sure term is in h1 tag and have made sure term is in both title and page URL. Also I think keyword density is about right. I am starting to work on linking strategies but any other tips appreciated. Thanks
Yes i would agree if it is a new domain i would give it some more time and working on other parts of your site.
You'll need to start your link building now if you want rankings. Gone are the days when you can get rankings purely by onpage seo. Also it might not help that most of your internal pages all have the exact same content.
Try to use http://keyworddiscovery.com/search.html to help you more on your KW research. Hmm. Focus on link building your blog, update it regularly as often as you can (before, i update my blog thrice a week, then i made it twice a week after i start getting regular traffic)
