SEO - Am I doing this right?

Hello DP members and Internet Marketers,

I am very much aware that the number of links you build is a Factor in your site’s ranking, this is true, but the biggest factor is the Quality of the links you build, not the Quantity.

Okay, I am assigned to optimize a site and my boss required me to submit one video everyday using traffic geyser and bookmarked the site using automated bookmarking tools. I am also using directory bot. So, I am generating lots of backlinks everyday.
Based from your expertise and experience, am I doing the right thing? Would these strategies be still appear natural to the eyes of the search engines. I am just focusing on the off-page side.

Any information you may provide will be highly appreciated.

I think you have posted exactly same thing in warrior forum also.

 

As you already know that Quality is better then Quantity:

Try to get links from relevant directories only (by relevant i mean they should be high PR + not general, should be matching with your sites niche)

Getting 1000's of backlinks in a couple of days using different submission tools might looks spammy to search engines

So, do it light and just focus on a small bunch of relevant directories

 

hmm give one site 3 or 4 months. and also work on 'on-page' beacuse contents are king

 

Video marketing is a great marketing method. But it is not part of SEO.

 

You're off to a good start already - and also, a great way would be to make sure all your site titles, meta descriptions, and header tags are correct. Why? On-site optimization of SEO is very important before the start of a link building campaign.

And also - its links of quality that matter the most. Such as, getting links from your competitors that have been doing well on search longer than you - and ask them to link you. You can also use forum signatures, twitter, and facebook marketing to build links.
