I currently run a niche Vbulletin forum with 3500+ members, 160,000+ Posts. I am interested in growing the site, and natural traffic has been slowing lately. I have some basic knowledge of SEO, but am wondering if hiring an SEO firm/consultant for a vbulletin forum is worth it(Cash flow positive). I currently earn money via adsense/viglink/premium memberships. I would be looking to spend $100/month max to start. THough will definately spend more if it is net income positive. So is it worth it to use an SEO firm for a vbulletin forum? Will it return a positive profit if I generate money from ads mainly? I have looked into SEO before, but I have always had a hard time finding a Seo firm/site that didn't look like a scam. If you can also recommend any SEO services that would be appreciated. Thanks.
Yeh I currently am using vBSeo. But I feel like there is a lot more I could be doing such as back linking and more I don't know about. I have decent google rank, but not great. And the same goes for Alexa.
