Hi, My business site is JW-Webbdesign.se which is optimized for the keyword "webbdesign" (swedish spelling). The site has PR 5 and subpages PR 4 with thousands of backlinks. It is quite new like about 3 months old. I have gotten it to rank at #7 in Google SERPs for about 4 weeks about 2 months ago but then it went down and down. I increaded the link pop but it didn't help. The site went to position 110 or something and I lost all traffic from Google. It has been there since then. As I offer SEO services it is kind of embarassing that my own site does not rank well and also it is from the SEs I got "good" visitors. If I look at the competition in the SERPS on "webbdesign" I should rank in the top 10 but these are the current rankings: MSN: #13 Yahoo rank if I search on Swedish sites: # 275 Google: #115 Now to the questions: - Did I hit the sandbox, and should not worry but just try to increase link pop? - Did I over-optimize the site (several H1 etc., please see the source) ? - Did I get dup content penalty as I have english articles on the site? - I have many links with the anchor text "JW Webbdesign", doesn't the SEs see the "webbdesign" in it? Or it becomes another phrase for them? Any advices, tips etc? Thanks a lot!
I think your target deviated from "webbdesign" to "JW Webbdesign". Implies your inblund links are having "JW Webbdesign" as anchor and not "webbdesign". I think for google you should try to naturalize the linking. For example, In english what we do is like this : Anchors : Web Design,[more than 50%] Web Designs [10-20%] Web Design Company ["] Web Design Firm["] Web Designing["] This implies major propotion of your backlinks should have the important keyword. Then to naturalize and also to get ranking from other related keywords use others. Title: Branding terms are mostly placed at right end. Hence the first title you need to have "Webbdesign" and last "JW Webbdesign". My 2c.
